Strategies for sustainable territorial development

• ALG has broad experience in the elaboration of strategy planning processes for sustainable territorial development. ALG professionals have led or cooperated in a great number of strategy planning processes for large, medium and small-size cities, as well as processes for Local Agenda 21 both at domestic and international levels.
• The strategy planning methodology has also been put into practice in specific sectors in which public and private management have worked alongside in the design of policies; and in the execution and management of promotion and development actions.

Economic promotion and innovation

• The services for economic and innovation promotion in the territory cover the entire life cycle of the product: from strategic reflection to the design and deployment of policies as well as subsequent monitoring and assessment.
• We offer our support in the development and implementation of business models for innovation platforms such as scientific and technological parks, and of programmes for business creation (nurseries and incubators). We define and analyze the feasibility of technological centres and assist companies and institutions to benefit from public R&D+ innovation programmes.

Strategic projects

• We specialise in the design and implementation of structuring projects i.e. ‘emblematic’ actions that, due to their scale and/or their expected impact, affect the development and the social-economic organisation of a territory. Indeed, they are important tools for the deployment of particular strategies and policies.
• ALG is committed to join its efforts along with its clients to tackle the triple dimension involving the project’s management: institutional management (compromise, organisation, operation model…), physical management (design, calls for tender) and financial management (business plan, management of subsidies…).
