Recruitment process

Candidates

The establishment of a distinguished professional staff is an on-going and highly important activity at ALG, as it is the firm's source to create value for its clients and the company's shareholders.

ALG looks for professionals in all stages of professional development, with motivation to involve themselves in the common project and with the interest and desire to develop a long career with the firm.

For this reason, ALG is continuously involved in a rigourous Recruitment process in search for suitable candidates that incorporate ALG's work philosophy:

  • Junior profiles: Graduates in Engineering, Economics and/or Environmental Studies, with a strong academic record.
  • Senior profiles: Relevant experience in the business consultancy sector and preference given to postgraduate studies and/or MBA.
Upon the receipt of applications, the selection department filters the CVs that most closely meet the company's profile. The next stage is the interview process.


Interviews

The Recruitment process continues with different levels of interviews in which the case method is utilized and in which the interviewer will evaluate not only the candidates knowledge, but also his/her analytical capacity, ability to rationalize and resolve the case studies that are presented, as well as his/her overall capacity to provide value to the firm.

In total, this process will provide an overall evaluation of the candidate's aptitude level, taking into consideration the type of work at ALG, and will also assess his/her match with the company's culture, taking a personal and humanistic perspective.
